Working as a Financial Advisor at PNC
Our Financial Advisors ensure clients' investments needs are identified and addressed in a comprehensive and collaborative manner. PNC Financial Advisors work with an ecosystem structure to leverage the expertise of partners to help PNC best meet the needs of the customer. Your partners may include Retail Branch, PNC Private Bank, Business Banking, Merchant Services, and Mortgage.
PNC Financial Advisors are offered a variety of resources including comprehensive New Advisor Orientation and training focused on critical knowledge to engage mass affluent clients. We provide enhanced sales assistant support to create a smooth transition, and advisors are aligned with a Wealth Strategist to provide strategic recommendations to clients. Financial Planning is the foundation of PNCI's Advice and Planning model and advisors have access to financial planning tools on their laptop. These resources and our robust product continuum solutions allow our advisors to create custom investment strategies designed to help meet each client's unique goals, time horizon and risk tolerance.
At PNC, our Financial Advisors have options on how they support their clients and run their business. We have three distinct and highly successful Financial Advisor roles:
- Financial Advisors are based within a bank branch and leverage referrals and internal partnerships to grow households, assets under management and revenue to a level of excellence.
- Senior Financial Advisors are based in a centralized location and grow business by utilizing centers of influence, optimizing internal business partners and deepening clients' share of wallet.
- Virtual Financial Advisors are phone-based financial advisors within our fast-paced Investment Center. You may work remotely and are aligned with branch partners within your assigned book of business who refer clients seeking advice and guidance.
